Let’s Welcome Frank LaMura

We are pleased to introduce Frank LaMura as part of our Lezzer Lumber team. Frank will serve a pivotal role as our window & millwork specialist covering our eastern region from Stockertown. Frank has been in the LBM industry for 18 years, specializing in window installation and sales. Prior to that role, Frank served five years in the United State Air Force. In addition to Frank’s expertise in windows, he can also assist customers with any interior or exterior millwork products.

Frank has been selling Marvin Windows in Eastern Pa, New Jersey and New York for almost a decade. His expertise and passion for windows will bring tremendous experience and value to Lezzer customers.

Frank’s favorite window line is Marvin. “I especially like the in-swing casements and the lift and slide patio doors (featured below),” he mentioned.

Outside of work, Frank is an avid hunter and really enjoys deep sea fishing. During vacations you can expect to find him going 180 miles out to the Gulf Stream looking for his next big mahi-mahi catch! Welcome, Frank!

THE MARVIN MATERIALS DIFFERENCE: ULTREX FIBERGLASS

Choosing the right materials for windows and doors is important when it comes to long-term appearance and performance. Ultrex® , an innovative fiberglass material pioneered by Marvin over 20 years ago, was one of the first premium composites on the market. However, not all composites are created equal.

Some companies use materials like sawdust and vinyl to produce a composite material with fundamentally different properties and performance values. But Ultrex is different. Its material makeup contains a high density of woven fibers bound by a thermally-set resin that makes it more resistant to pressure and temperature than vinyl-based composites.

With such different materials grouped in the composites category, it becomes important to know what sets them apart.

FRANK’S FAVORITES

The Marvin Signature™ Ultimate Casement Inswing window complements classic architectural styles. Inswing casement windows can open into a room, making them a good choice when an outswing window could block or take up valuable space on patios, decks or outdoor walkways. Available by special order in single or French double-sash styles.

The Marvin Signature™ Ultimate Lift and Slide Door pairs stunningly large door panels with effortless, fingertip operation thanks to a carefully-engineered carriage system that lifts panels off their track for weightless operation. Marvin’s industry-exclusive panel hardware virtually disappears, creating minimal visual distraction from panoramic views that can span up to 47 feet wide. Numerous panel configurations are available to best suit the layout of a room, and a flush, universal design sill option creates an unobtrusive transition from indoors to out. Panoramic doors like the Signature Ultimate Lift and Slide bring the outdoors in by elegantly and effortlessly connecting your inside space with the environment found right outside your doors.
