Then there are certain projects that come along that really improve our local communities. Building improvements in our area is what helps keep the backbone of our region strong, so when a contractor calls on us to be the their trusted supplier on those types of jobs we get even more satisfaction.
According to the Eagle Eye News (A Tyrone Area High School Publication) an Altoona hospital that has been vacant for more than five years is getting a new lease on life thanks to 1979 Tyrone graduate and local developer Jeff Long. When completed in 2019, the former Bon Secours Hospital will be transformed into a $20 million Graystone Grande Palazzo apartment complex and long-term care facility.
We supplied the trusses and lumber on this building and will be supplying the Echelon Cabinets in the kitchens as well. Learn more about the restoration project below, and be sure to read the Eagle Eye News release here.
